Fire Hose Reels

Hose reels are essentail pieces of firec equipment for larger areas and are usually attached to the building. Although it’s not really portable, the hose can be pulled out to roughly 36 metres,  it has a constant stream of water and a water jet of approximately 7 metres long to help you fight any combustible fire.

Always remember, due to it using water it is not to be used on electrical fires. Your scheduled 6 monthly service will check your fire hose reels and every 12 months an active flow test is required.

Fire Blankets

Fire blankets are great for throwing on that burning pot or if you are really confident in using them you can use them on a fat fire and the best thing is there nothing to clean up except the blanket itself.

A fibreglass woven mesh blanket can also be used to wrap yourself up in if you find the need to escape a fire. Just make sure the blanket is big enough to cover your whole body.

Flame Control  Industries can arrange on-site training for the use of fire extinguishers, hose reels and fire blankets.
